| Export of Mechanical Product of China Increases 30% from Jan to Apr |

According to the report released by customs, conventional trade and processing trade of China from Jan to Apr maintained fast increasing trend, export of traditional predominant goods increased rapidly and mechanical product kept the leading place of export.
The statistic represented that import and export of China’s mechanical product from Jan to Apr maintained stable and fast increase to the value of US$288.28bln, up by 30.8% year-on-year. Out of which export was US$158.72bln, up by 32.7%, constituted 57.9% of China’s export; import was US$129.56bln, up by 28.5%, constituted 53.9% of China’s import. Experts believed China’s mechanical product was deficient in environment protection comparing with developed countries including Europe and US. According to the statistic in the first 4 months, although there was no negative effect on China’s mechanical product export made by the EU Directive on Environment Protection, Chinese enterprises should immediately carry out measure research on the Directive and pay special attention to product quality to reach international standard and established relative legal assurance system. |
